Hoop cutaway stabilizer
Matching thread - Outline of purse and Stitch placement stitch for zipper
Matching thread - Place zipper over placement with the zipper pull at the right end. Tape zipper in place if necessary. Stitch Zipper in place.  Remove tape.

Zipper pull should not be in stitch area.

Matching thread - place bottom fabric hem side up against zipper. Stitch

Place top fabric hem side up against zipper. Stitch


Carefully open zipper 1/2 way.  Always what the travel path of your machine so that it does not hit the zipper pull.
Matching thread - Stitch around top and bottom.

Complementary - Stitch Designs

Loop Placement

Place loop folded in half on the top left corner over placement stitches.
Fold should be facing the center of the design.   If you are using thick fabric, shape loop in the form of a V so that all fabric is not under the needle at the same time.
Stitch in place
(To create the fabric Loop - fold in half - 1" x 3" place stabilizer inside and fold in the sides - 1/2" x 3"
fold in half )


Finished loop that was stitched in the V shape
Matching thread - Place back fabric right side down centered over pouch.
Place cutaway over fabric.
Stitch through all layers

*** Sewing is complete ***

Remove hoop from machine
12. Trim around pouch leaving 1/4" seam allowance. Trim corner
Carefully trim cutaway stabilizer on inside of zipper stitching

Clip Curves for a nice smooth edge.

Turn bag through zipper opening right side out.

Place key ring in key loop
String 6 beads onto cord. Tie ends. Loop/Tie onto key ring.

Add pull to zipper
 

You are done!
