Simplified Directions

Cut fleece to 6" x your desired length plus fringe.  I cut mine to 6 x 64"

Hoop tear away or ws stabilizer on the bottom, fleece in the middle and ws topping on top.

I used a tear away on the bottom and Solvy on top

Measure 5" up from the bottom of the scarf and mark.  This is your hoops center line.  Hoop backing, fleece and topping.  Stitch the outer snowflake.  Reminder*  Change your bobbin thread to match the top thread.  This design looks great on both the front and back of the scarf After the outer snowflake is stitch, add your appliqué fabric, stitch, trim and stitch again.

Hint:  - Cut your appliqué fabric larger than you need.  Center your appliqué fabric and tape in place.

Remove your excess stabilizer.

You are done!

The tear away comes easily off the back.

I still need to remove a little bit on the outer flake.  Using a pin, those spots will pop right out.

Hint:  Add appliqué fabric to the back also.  Repeat the tack down stitch or tape in place and do them both at the same time.

Sew Simple!

For optional fringe, measure every inch along bottom and mark.  Cut in the middle and along the mark line 2"
